100% Pure Vitamin C Powder
Other ingredients: None
MojoMe Vitamin C is 100% pure and free of any bulking agents and additives like magnesium stearate, cellulose and silicon dioxide.
Ascorbic acid has an acidic pH of ±2 (a pH of 7 is neutral). The stomach, when not digesting is pH 4-6. This acid level helps eliminate dangerous microbes. Buffered Vitamin C (sodium ascorbate) is pH neutral (7) and therefore less acidic and more gentle on your stomach. Some people may experience stomach discomfort from taking high doses of Vitamin C as ascorbic acid and might want to consider Buffered Vitamin C.
Buffered Vitamin C is the most bioavailable, rapidly absorbed form of vitamin C available. It's gentle on the stomach and perfect for those sensitive to citrus fruits.
Combine MojoMe Ascorbic Acid with Sodium Bicarbonate (Baking Soda) at the ratio of 2:1 (2 parts Ascorbic Acid to 1 part Sodium Bicarbonate) and mix with ±120ml water (at room temperature to dissolve easily) or fruit juice, stir and drink. (fizz will recede after a few seconds)
Note: Do not use “Baking Powder” instead of “Baking Soda” because it is not the same.
For adults and children older than 9 years.</>
Take 1/4 teaspoon (1000mg) daily (dissolved in water, fruit juice, protein shakes or smoothies) or as recommended by your healthcare provider.
Vitamin C is most effectively absorbed when taken with food. It can easily be stirred into drinks for a sharp refreshing taste similar to fruit acids such as lemons and is particularly useful for those who wish to take large amounts of vitamin C or those who find tablets difficult to swallow.
